Smoke Detector

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Something no home should be without is a smoke detector. I am always shocked when I see a house without one. Or maybe worse is when it’s not working, batteries are dead or it’s been pulled down for going off when someone was cooking.

Domestic smoke detectors range from individual battery-powered units, to hard wired units. I suggest hard wired units for a couple of reasons. First is you don’t ever need to worry about the batteries being dead. Perhaps more importantly they are much harder to take down from their installed location.

The risk of dying in a home fire is cut in half in homes with working smoke alarms. Cut in HALF, let that sink it, then go check the batteries in your fire alarm or put it back where it belongs if you took it down “just for a minute” weeks or months ago.

Better yet grab a new one from our selection below. You can grab a new one for as little as 16 bucks.
